ingredients
2 cups Multi -Bran Chex
2 cups Corn Chex
2 cups of Cheerios
2 cups mini pretzels
1 cup salted nuts
1/3 cup butter , cut into cubes
1/3 cup brown sugar
Light corn syrup 1/4 cup
2-3 tsp butter flavor
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon baking soda

itinerary
In a large microwaveable bowl - microwave, combine cereals, pretzels and nuts and set aside. In a large saucepan, combine butter , brown sugar , corn syrup , butter and salt flavor . Bring to a boil . Cook uncovered for 5 minutes.
In a small bowl , mix baking soda and vanilla. Remove the brown sugar syrup heat and add vanilla mixture ( syrup will foam ) . Pour over cereal mixture and toss to coat .
Microwave , uncovered, on high for 2 minutes, stirring . Microwave 2-3 minutes , stirring. Microwave at 50 % power for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes . Let cool for 3 minutes , stirring several times. Spread on waxed paper to cool . Yield : 8-1/2 cups.
